Bolognese Sandwich

With AllaRaffi Bolognese Sauce

Materials

  • Thinly sliced baguette or bread slices
  • 1 bottle of AllaRaffi Bolognese Sauce
  • Fresh arugula leaves
  • 200 grams of mozzarella cheese (sliced)
  • Olive oil (optional)
  • Salt and pepper
 

Recipe

 
  1. Preheat your oven to 180°C.
  2. Place thinly sliced baguette or bread slices on a baking tray. If you want, you can get a crispier texture by applying a little olive oil on the sliced bread.
  3. Spread AllaRaffi Bolognese Sauce on each slice of bread. Spread the sauce evenly with a spatula or a flat-sided knife.
  4. Place sliced mozzarella cheese on bread slices. Spread the cheese over the sauce so it adheres better during the melting process.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for about 10-15 minutes until the cheese melts and the bread is lightly browned. If you want to bake the cheese until it is golden brown, you can keep it in the oven for a few more minutes.
  6. After removing from the oven, place fresh arugula leaves on the sandwich slices. Arugula will add a fresh taste and slight crunch to the sandwich.
  7. Serve the sandwiches hot and optionally with fries or salad.
